01 What I do

Solar, batteries, and the paperwork that comes with it.

Residential systems from 4 kW to 14 kW. I design every job, pull every permit, and either install it myself or with the same two-person crew I've worked with for years. No subcontractors I haven't worked with twenty times.

02
Battery storage
Tesla Powerwall 3, Enphase 5P, or Franklin aPower depending on your usage pattern and outage history. Bay Area homes outside the hills usually do fine with one battery; hills often want two.

03
EV charger install
Level-2 charger wired off your new solar service, or off your existing panel if there's room. Most installs are a 4-hour job if the panel's in a sensible spot.

Panel upgrades & rewires
If your panel is 100A or sub-panelled funny, we'll sort it out before the solar goes up. Old Federal Pacific or Zinsco panels — yes, we replace those.

03 Common questions

Things people ask most.

How long is a typical install?+
From your first call to power-on is usually 30–45 days. Most of that is permit and PG&E paperwork — the actual on-roof install is a single day, occasionally two if it's a big system or a complicated roof.
Do you sell shared broker leads to other installers?+
No. You're calling me directly. The number you see on the site is my number. Nobody else gets your info.
What does a quote actually cost?+
Nothing. I come out, walk the roof, and send a one-page quote within 48 hours. If we don't end up working together, that's fine — no charge, no follow-up army.
What if my roof needs work first?+
I'll tell you straight up. If your roof is more than 15 years old and worn, solar on top of it doesn't make sense — you don't want to pull the system off in 5 years to re-roof. I can recommend roofers I trust, and we sequence the work right.
Are you NEM 2.0 or NEM 3.0?+
If you didn't have a system before April 2023, you're on NEM 3.0 (the new net-metering rules). I'll show you the math both ways — with and without a battery — so you can see why batteries matter more now.
What about the federal tax credit and SGIP?+
30% federal tax credit applies to most systems (and to batteries) through 2032. SGIP — California's storage rebate — varies by utility and equity tier. I'll spell out exactly what you'll get and when on the quote.
